Located on the slopes of Cerro Ahuachapan, El Naranjo is an experimental farm owned by the Belismelis family. The family have dedicated the last few years to determine the best post-harvest processing for each lot. All cherries harvested are sent to Beneficio San Miguel where they are first graded before being laid out to dry on raised African beds. All farming is carried out using local labour who are paid a premium to selectively pick the ripest cherries.
